Recently I persuaded my friend, May, to model for us once again while we tried out some new techniques. This was an attempt for us to go for something more honest and real. I had seen this
beautiful portrait of a girl with coffee in front of a well lit window and wanted to capture the same essence. This also helped to set the tone for the first half of the photoshoot.
i think there is still a vast difference between the mood of the original photo and this one, but i think i'm getting there!
the right one is my favorite because i think that's the most vulnerable shot of the day
in the last part of the photoshoot, jared started to play with light isolation (i don't think that's a real photography term... i just make these things up!)
